Love You, Mean It: Allee Movie Tickets, Holiday Hijinx & More!
Rusty's Electric Dreams :: Issue #363
Hi everyone! The documentary celebrating my amazing, late friend Allee that I mentioned in the last issue is now officially in theaters! Because you’re the best—and because I love you—I’m raffling off a pair of tickets to see "The World According to Allee Willis" at the U.S. screening of your choice. There are a bunch of one-night-only screenings early next week available.
I don’t want to get too crazy making a form or anything, so if you’re interested, just comment the name of the city you’d like to see it in and you’ll be entered into the drawing. Easy peasy. But don’t wait, the screenings are happening now.
No, it isn’t coming to every city, dangit. (Sorry, San Francisco Bay Area. I really put in a good word for you.) But, it IS going to many, many other U.S. cities AND it will be available to stream starting Nov. 22. Offer for subscribers only.
— Rusty Blazenhoff
P.S. Must be that time of year (for Nancy’s sake, I hope to never use “‘tis the season” again). Suddenly, everyone is announcing their holiday shows, so this issue is packed with them.
P.S.S. Back on Bluesky.

Real Things That Actually Exist: Yes way!
John Waters will make you SICK!: A John Waters barf bag? Yes, please, and thank you. The signed ones are sold out, but you can still grab an unsigned one—it’s nearly as cool. P.S. I just met the artist, Seth Bogart, this past weekend at a fun Willis Wonderland event. An absolute thrill for me as a fan!
Real Thing Made on MacPaint: Yes way!
The 12-year-old who used MacPaint to create this awesome birthday invitation back in 1988 now creates magical experiences. Meet Ellen Steuer: a Burner, former Disney Cast Member, and a devoted reader of Rusty’s Electric Dreams. Happy now-birthday, Ellen!
